About the Author
mg1204: I do art (sometimes), music (mostly) and a bit of prose.
mg1204: I will write for coffee.
You: What’s your favorite book?
mg1204: Definitely 20,000 Leagues under the Sea by Jules Verne. It has such a unique energy, and stunning descriptions to go along. Captain Nemo is absolutely one of the best antagonists ever too. Also, love seeing how people in the past saw the future.
You: What’s your favorite piece of art?
mg1204: If I had to pick one, it would be “Over the Moon” by Rob Gonsalves. Surrealism can often be unsettling, which has its own charm, but this piece captures such a perfect whimsical, dream-like atmosphere. It feels unlike any other work of art, and that fascinates me.
You: What’s your favorite movie/TV show?
mg1204: Blue Planet II, hands down. I can’t think of a single TV show that can even compete with the positive impact this series and its predecessor had. The cinematography, the score, the everything is unbeatable.
