YouthBeats

Empowering the youth of today one word, one voice, one beat at a time.
About Us
YouthBeats is student organization that believes in the power of words: written, spoken, or even signed. Our goal is to empower the youth of today through the realization that words have power: they inform, they entertain, they teach, they question, and sometimes they can be used to vent.

Meeting Dates and Times

YouthBeats will begin holding monthly (maybe even twice a month) meeting for any students interested in sharing original poetry, short stories, or songs for the purpose of peer feedback.

Please check back next week (10/24/22) for dates and times.

Giving Bean Coffee Fundraiser

Twice a semester, we run fundraisers to support our club and magazine publications; however, you can always purchase your coffee and tea online with Giving Bean to support us all year.  Great coffee that helps us continue to publish both our literary zines Equinox and Wild Horses.

Sourcing your home and office coffee from Giving Bean is an easy way to help us out.. while you enjoy delicious coffee and tea! Thank for all your support!

Celebrating Local Writers

YouthBeats is looking to celebrate our local writers and other youth writing clubs and organizations.  If you are interested in being a featured writer in Equinox or at one of our local readings or simply looking to collaborate with YouthBeats in the future, please feel free to reach out to us.
